Grow Mo’s Grow!

As we have mentioned, we are proudly working with Burton to help them with their Movember sponsorship campaign and we have decided to get involved! Some of our Ants are growing Mo’s to raise money for prostate cancer and at the end of week 2 look at how they are doing. A couple of our guys are sporting the Burton Mo Tshirts, which also help to raise money towards the cause.These guys are also on the Movember Facebook application and you can vote for their Mo’s or your favourite on there. We have also set up a group for Movember and if you want to support the campaign, but it’s a little too late to start growing a Mo, you can sponsor the Red Ant team (the Mo Ants) directly through Movember.
Although some of the guys have been talking of feeling “Itchy. Really, really itchy” and feeling a little scruffy in the first week, the Mo growing has been a bit of light fun around the office and we think they are looking really good!
Not only have we been working closely with Burton on their campaign, but we also had a visit from one of the ‘Faces of Movember’ and Handlebar Club secretary, Steve Parsons, who came in to educate us on the importance for men to have regular health checks. This was no regular talk however and Steve bought in a dummy and some very brave and slightly embarrassed Ants demonstrated how to check a prostate.
